Formed in '71 by Jozef Skrzek (bass/keyboards/vocals), Apostolis Anthimos (guitar), and Jerzy Piotrowski (drums/percussion); after a hiatus and A renowned band representing the Polish progressive rock scene that continues to perform today, despite periods of hiatus; studio session recordings made in April 1976 following a commission from the Warsaw documentary film studio Wytwornia Filmów Dokumentalnych are now being released on LP for the first time in 26 years! This recording was originally included under the title “SENNYSAD” in the compilation box set *LOST TAPES VOL. 1*, released by MetalMind Productions in 2005, and this marks its first release as a standalone work. Recorded about half a year after the sessions for their 1976 album *PAMIEC*—a turning point that established their symphonic sound centered on the Hammond organ and synthesizers—the addition of the vintage Italian-made SLM Concert Spectrum synthesizer further accelerated SBB’s shift toward a more harmony- and melody, accelerating their shift toward a dreamlike symphonic rock style. It captures SBB during this period and includes “Swiatlowod”—the original version of “Wake Up” featured on *FOLLOW MY DREAM*—as well as “Ida,” which later became “Freedom With Us” ," as well as "SennySad," the original version of the melodic jazz-rock epic " "Wolanie O Brzek Szkla," released in 1978. This is an extremely valuable document—a must-listen for any SBB fan!
