Her long-awaited new album in 2024 is now available on self-released CD! This album is a series of musical doodles," Mary explains.No plan, just random thoughts that came to me in the moment," he said. No lyrics, no specific form...just layers and layers of mostly improvised melodies and rhythms. All 18 songs are composed and performed by Mary herself, with chorus, orchestra, Latin grooves, haunting piano, and folky acoustic guitar.Vocals are also multiple recorded by Mary, with choruses by her daughter Jessica (who co-wrote one song), son Morgan, and Jessica's partner, Christian. Mary says, "In a world of rules and regulations, it's important to try new things, to explore, to experiment, to find joy in the unexpected... to get out of your own way, to simply have fun, to find the time and space for yourself where you can be a kid again."The cover art is by Mary herself.
