Her 1995 masterpiece "IT'S A MAN'S WORLD", which has gained a strong following among her fans, has been long-awaited to be reissued as a 2LP analog set! In 2018, she will release her first album, "MAMMAMIA! In 2018, Cher appeared in the film "MAMMAMIA! HERE WE GO AGAIN" and released the ABBA cover album "DANCING QUEEN" as a companion piece. In 2023, she released her "first" Christmas album despite a career spanning more than half a century, and at the end of last year, she released her autobiography. In 1995, she signed a contract with Warner Records, which had released her solo career in the 1970s, and released "IT'S A MAN'S WORLD" as her first album with Warner. Recorded in London, the album quickly climbed into the Top 10 of the UK Albums Chart and was awarded a gold disc. Cher's covers of classic songs by Marc Cohn, Don Henley, James Brown, and others are highly acclaimed by enthusiastic fans as one of the finest albums of Cher's many works. The album features some of the best songs ever recorded, including "Walking In Memphis" (Marc Cohn), "One By One," "Not Enough Love in the World" (Don Henley), "This Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" (Frankie Valli), and "Paradise. Is Here" (Tina Turner), and featuring a stellar cast of producers including Trevor Horn and Stephen Lipson, the album has been described by AllMusic's Jose Promise as "the greatest album Cher has ever made, and one of her most overlooked and undervalued works, It is also the work whose value has been most overlooked." IT'S A MAN'S WORLD" is an album that cannot be missed when talking about Cher in the 90's, along with "BELIEVE" which was released after "IT'S A MAN'S WORLD". It's long-awaited reissue as a set of two black analog LPs.
