These 10 titles include albums that have been difficult to obtain in recent years, all of which are being reissued on UHQCD for the first time. This series is the best way to trace the achievements of a man who left behind many masterpieces in a wide variety of styles. Takemitsu and Messiaen, a rare live recording of 20th century works representing Japan and France. The Concertgebouw, conducted by the master conductor Haitink, with the distinguished musicians Katsuya Yokoyama and Kinshi Tsuruta, portrays the musical spaces of the East and the West, each with their own exquisite sound.
