It is not only a revenge drama, but also a play that describes the psychological conflicts surrounding Hamlet and the position of women in society at the time. Above all, the tragic love between Hamlet and Ophelia is one of the episodes that accentuate the complexity of the psychological drama. A masterpiece that has been featured in numerous films and stage productions, this stage production is a much talked-about project as "the first Hamlet performed by a black actor," and the charismatic charm and convincing performance of the lead actor, Parpa Essiedu, is highly praised as the one that propelled the globalization of this work.
