The abbey of Royaumont, which was restored in the 19th century after the French Revolution ended its role as a monastery since the Middle Ages, has been closed since the early 20th century and has been used for workshops, concerts, and recordings of ancient and contemporary music in recent years. The Fondation Roylaymont, which is based in this historical building, and the Musée d'Orsay jointly promote a project to nurture a new generation of song performers, and singers and pianists who studied at the Academy Orsay-Roylaymont will gather to hear the world of German songs, which are the roots of song art, and the masterpieces of modern French songs. The title of the program is "Journey to Paris.
