Daniel Müller-Schott, a collection of Richard Strauss works with a special attention to detail, "Don Quixote" was performed by Daniel Müller-Schott in Australia in 2017. Once released as part of a separate album, the Orfeo label is now releasing it in a new combination at his own request, as he "wanted to release it exclusively with Richard Strauss cello works." The descriptive "Don Quixote," composed at the age of 33, shows the maturity of Strauss's compositional technique and demonstrates how much he loved the sound of the cello. Müller-Schott uses colorful tones to express the world Strauss envisioned in this unique work, which was composed at the age of 33. Backed by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, one of Australia's leading orchestras. Under the direction of Andrew Davis, the orchestra performs more than 150 live concerts each year, reaching an audience of more than 3.5 million people through television and radio broadcasts.Moore, the viola player who will take the role of Sancho, is principal of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Herbert Schiff, who accompanies Strauss in the fresh and sensitive "Cello Sonata," composed at the age of 18 for his friend Hans Wiehan, as well as in the songs, is a talented player in the German tradition.
