Camilleri studied under Chiara Banchini at the Schola Cantorum Basel and François Fernandes at the Conservatoire de Paris. He studied under François Fernandez at the Paris Conservatory. The Sonata from Tartini's last remaining autograph sketch is the ultimate in Tartini's musical and spiritual exploration. Camilleri takes a new approach to this swan song, adding an improvisational interpretation to the notes in the score. Track 6 also features a beautiful countertenor. Naxos Japan
