The debut album by KNIM, a British fantasy progressive metal band A modern progressive sound built on a fusion of heavy guitar riffs and complex time signatures A British fantasy progressive metal trio formed during the COVID-19 pandemic. It began as a recording project between guitarist Dennis Berry and drummer Peter Nicholson. Their initial musical concept was to fuse heavy riffs, progressive song structures, and complex time signatures, heavily influenced by bands such as Tool, Porcupine Tree, and Oceansize. As the band has grown, they have evolved by incorporating atmospheric synthesizers and narrative-driven lyrics. Their debut album, *When a Star Falls*, was self-released in late November 2022 and was well-received. They are currently continuing to evolve with the goal of releasing new material.
