Gusokumuz, a four-piece band based in Kichijoji, Tokyo, has released an album. This is the band's fourth album, and the more one listens to it, the more one feels the music seeping into the listener's hearts. The opening track, "Bokurashiawase," has an unprecedented slow psychedelic quality, and gives the listener a sense of the band's newfound depth. It is followed by "It must be love" with its multi-layered chorus against a wall of sound, and "Itsumo" (an insert song for the CX drama "Pension Koi wa Momochiro season 3") with its rich and playful expression of sound. The folky "Haru no Uta (Song of Spring)," with its melding of the emotional voice and the sound of steel guitar, is a song that symbolizes Gusokumuz's unique style. The 11 songs in total, each with its own unique character, resonate peacefully together, leaving a warm aftertaste to the album as a whole. The album has been selected as one of the "My 10 Best Albums of the Year by Professionals" by EX "Eight-Jam," and its presence is steadily expanding.
