The two CDs include the complete 1974 Carnegie Hall recital by Cuban-born pianist Jorge Bollet, who was born in 1914 and died in 1990, as well as two encores that had not yet been released. Known as a virtuoso pianist, he made his New York debut in 1937 and was reportedly joined by Rachmaninoff, Horowitz, and others.
