The third album from Joanne Shaw Taylor, the No. 1 young British blues guitar woman! Joined by producer Mike McCarthy, an accomplished rock and folk music producer from Austin, Texas, this album goes beyond the blues-rock genre and delivers a more accomplished roots music. Backing the band are JJ Johnson (John Mayer, Tedeschi Trucks Band) on drums and David Garza (Fiona Apple, Blues Traveler) on keyboards. (2012) Joanne Shaw Taylor was born in England in 1986, started playing guitar at the age of 8, admired Albert Collins and Stevie Rayvaughn, and fell in love with the blues. 16 years old, she was discovered by Dave Stuart, ex-Urizmix, and the next year he and Candy Dulfer, a former member of the Urizmix, formed the band, The following year, she joined the supergroup D.U.P., consisting of him, Candy Dulfer, and Jimmy Cliff, as a guitarist on tour. Her 2009 debut album, "White Sugar," won Blues Music Awards in the U.S. and the U.K. She wrote almost all of the songs and performed all of the songs on the album. She wrote almost all of the songs, and on all the songs she further refined her technique on the guitar and sang with a husky voice. The following year, 2010, saw the early release of their second album, "Diamonds in the Dirt," which won the British Blues Award for the second year in a row.Aiming for full-fledged entry into the U.S. market, he moved his base to the United States. She has gained many fans in Japan with her two albums. Recently, he played guitar back-up for Annie Lennox at the "Queen Elizabeth's 60th Anniversary of Accession to the Throne Celebration Concert" in June 2012, which recorded the highest rating in the UK, and has attracted attention not only from blues fans but also from general music fans.
