Ken Yokoyama's third single for 2023, "These Magic Words," has been completed. The single "Better Left Unsaid" was released in May in a new attempt to produce to order (direct label sales), and the "DEAD AT MEGACITY" concert held at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall for the first time by the artist as a follow-up to the single was a great success. The follow-up release "My One Wish," a cover song featuring Kaela Kimura (w/KAELA KIMURA), also drew a great deal of attention. Yokoyama closes this year's release rush with this new album. The title track, "These Magic Words," has a melody that is immediately catchy, and of course, the chorus work and drumming are also very appealing to the ear. The chorus of "These Magic Words" is a number that is sure to be a sing-along favorite at a live performance, and the "Yokoyama-busi" style is in full swing. The first pressing of the album comes with a video of "DEAD AT MEGACITY" mentioned above. This is a must-have item to reconfirm the excitement and emotion of that day.The result is a single that is well worth listening to.
