Manfred Mann Champter Three is the second album released in 1970 by Manfred Mann Champter Three, which was formed by Manfred Mann, a South African who was active in the mod scene in London in the 1960s, and his friend Mike Hagg, aiming for a more progressive direction. This album, with an impressive cover designed by Keefe, is a masterpiece that further developed the brass-jazz-rock sound established on the previous album into a more aggressive style. Drummer Andrew McCulloch, who later joined King Crimson, Greenslade, and others, also participated on this album. Paper jacket, SHM-CD, and bonus tracks.
