Barenboim & Staatskapelle Berlin's 2010 Bruckner Cycle on Film Vol.3 Barenboim & Staatskapelle Berlin performed Bruckner Cycle from June 20 to 27, 2010. This series has already released No. 5 (ACC 102175BD/ACC 202175DV) on the 21st and No. 4 (ACC 10217BD/ACC 20217DVD) on the 20th to enjoy its heated concert footage. The performance of No. 7 recorded on the 25th has already been released on CD, but the lyrical, large scale, and profound sound and the musical camera work typical of ACCENTUS MUSIC make it a powerful performance that should definitely be seen on video. Barenboim's Bruckner was recorded by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (1972-1981) and the Berlin Philharmonic (1990-1996) as a complete cycle, and he has been a deeply respected composer who frequently performs his works in concert. In this performance, Barenboim's passionate music-making and his overwhelming ability to inspire the orchestra were superb. The first half highlights the beauty of the lyrical melody, and the second half builds up the excitement with a sense of scale and amplitude.
