This is a collection of violin sonatas from the manuscripts of the Vienna convent of the Brethren (Franciscans), numbered 81 to 87 in sequence. The world premiere recordings of all but two of the sonatas are world premiere recordings. Although the authorship of many of the works is unknown, they are valuable documents that give a vivid picture of what Austrian violin music was like at the time, and they are also excellent works of art. Born in 1992 in Upper Austria, Bourne has studied baroque violin since 2013 and is currently a member of the Rolfeo Barockorchester led by her teacher Mih Geig. Tobu Landesysteme
