Newly recorded by Plamzoller! Trio Sonatas from "London"! Johannes Plamzoller is a baroque violinist of the "21st century generation" who has made his way from South Tyrol to the world. He is the leader of the Ensemble Diderot and the International Baroque Players, and is also a member of his teacher Rachel Podger's Brecon Baroque. The "London Album" is a sequel to the famous "Dresden Album," a recording of unknown trio sonatas from the Dresden court that caused a sensation. The "London Album (ADX 13718)" is the music of the first heyday of the English Baroque, a period in which Purcell published his "Trio Sonatas in Three Voices" in 1683, and which developed by skillfully incorporating the unique English musical language and the latest Italian and French music.
