Their Japan tour in early 2020—featuring five shows across five cities—was completely sold out, and it’s still fresh in our memories how they made headlines in November by remotely producing the collaboration track “Dear My Friend feat. Pentatonix” with Little Glee Monster, written and composed by Seiji Kameda. While they have delighted fans every year with their wonderful voices on Christmas albums and cover albums, they are now releasing “The Lucky Ones,” their first original album in six years since 2015’s “Pentatonix.” The album features a total of 11 tracks, including the previously released, euphoric “Happy Now” and “Be My Eyes,” which was composed with the participation of member Kirstin and arranged by the entire group. With its intricate vocal arrangements, this album is a long-awaited masterpiece for a group that has continued to expand its reach and grow significantly with each release.
