Description:
Debut album from Amber Run, a five-piece band from Nottingham, England. Nottingham has recently produced Jake Bugg and London Grammar, and has a well-established music scene that has nurtured notable musicians such as Saint Raymond and Indiana, in addition to Amber Run. Four of the five members met when they went to the University of Nottingham from other cities, and friends joined them to form the band, which played a series of shows in their hometown and went on to perform at Reading Festival and other festivals, finally releasing this album. The producer is Mike Crossey, who has worked with Arctic Monkeys, Two Door Cinema Club, and The 1975. Influenced by Coldplay, U2, and Bon Yvelle, they have a beautiful melody.They have had many opportunities to play shows together with Codaline, a band of the same generation, and they share the same musical interests. The band aspires to a post-rock-like dramatic style, while presenting an anthem for all!
