Guest appearances by Pixies guitarist Joey Santiago and Terry Genderbender (Les Buccherettes)! The charismatic Melvins, pioneers of American alternative and heavy rock and admired by Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, released the album "Bassies Loaded" in June 2016, featuring a stellar lineup of bass players, followed by the release of At the Drive-In's Omar Rodriguez Lopez and Terry Genderbender of Les Buccherettes, the band continues to produce unconventional music with their debut album as the super band Crystal Fairy. Always full of ideas and active, the band has now announced the release of their first double album "A Walk With Love and Death" in July! The disc "Death" is their so-called "normal" Melvins album, while the other disc "Love" is the soundtrack to the short film "A Walk with Love and Death" to be released in 2017.The Melvins are producers on the film directed by Jesse Nieminen. And the film features Joey Santiago, guitarist for the legendary band Pixies, and Terry Genderbender of Les Buccherettes, who also played in the band Crystal Fairy.
