This is the third album by Yukari Arai, a pianist who has been active in a wide variety of activities with her powerful yet flexible playing. With a tone that has earned her trust as an ensemble player, she presents a number of masterpieces, mainly arrangements. The Nutcracker" and "Cinderella" for orchestra, "The Sorrow of Love" for violin, "Love Lane" and "On the Wings of Song" for voice.... Mendelssohn "On the Wings of Song" from "Six Songs, op. 34", the poem is taken from "The Book of Songs" by Heine. Arranged by the great composer and pianist Liszt. The pianist and pedagogue Grunfeldt, who was a close friend of Liszt, paraphrased the waltz with various famous waltzes by Johann Strauss II, the king of waltzes.
