A rare and strange recordings of young Leon Russell and the Allman Brothers, who are said to have participated undercover, are now being reissued! This disc, a collection of songs named after American comic books, which was occulted by Mercury Records' subsidiary smash label, is unofficially reported to feature Leon Russell, the Allman Brothers Band, and J.J. Cale as the Wrecking Crew. The unique arrangements on this rock-oriented disc make it a disc to be enjoyed with a rich imagination, recalling the geniuses before they made their big break. Bonus tracks include two B-sides from singles not included on the album (one of them is a coupling song released under the name Spotlights on the Smash label).
