The unit was started by Dimitri From Paris, a French disco nobleman who is still popular here in Japan, and DJ Rocca, a veteran Italo disco evangelist who has worked with some of Italy's leading Balearic/disco veterans, such as Daniel Baldelli. The two have been active under the same name since around 2010, and their last three analog EPs released on the prestigious German label Gomma Record were huge hits! The first album of Erodiscotheque by these two artists will be released on CD only in Japan. It consists of 11 songs, including the aforementioned hit EP, a new EP, and previously unreleased songs. Dimitri, whose album releases themselves are rare, has teamed up with Rocca to produce an erotic disco/funky house album that is as erotic as its name! You will definitely sweat on the floor! The album starts with "EroDisCosmique," a previously unreleased track only available on this album, which, as the title suggests, is rich in cosmic colors and has a pleasant spacy sound.Taken from the hit EP, it is super groovy with a Dimitri-like uplifting beat and guitar cutting! Ero Disco Theme" is the second track on the album, and it's a great addition to the album, and "Days Of A Better Paradise," which also appears here for the first time, has a fast, minimal beat and a familiar sampling voice that is very 90's cool! It's 90's chic and cool! Don't You Feel The Same" is a nice disco track that brings a dhimmi-esque happiness that you should play at peak time! One For Frankie", which is literally dedicated to Frankie Knuckles, is a pleasant house tune with a beautiful flute sound! The Italo vocal house "Pretty Baby", the 80's NY style vibe of "Downtown", the House Master Boys vibe, and the "Soul of the House" are all great tunes.The last track, "The Compass Point," is a perfect ending to the album, with its melancholy synths that you may have heard somewhere before.
