First live album by North Carolina Americana folk duo Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange)! The heartwarming Americana sound rooted in bluegrass, country, folk, and gospel with Andrew Marlin's mandolin and Emily Frantz's fiddle and beautiful unadorned harmony vocals is first class. This album was recorded during their appearance at the popular 2019 music festival Austin City Limits and was released exclusively on Bandcamp for distribution in July 2020 past Corona (first CD release due to popular demand). Watch House (formerly Mandolin Orange) is a male-female folk duo formed in 2009 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina by Andrew Marlin, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who plays mandolin, banjo, organ, bass, and drums, and Emily Franz, a violinist and guitarist. Their debut album, Quiet Little Rooms, was released in 2010.In 2011, he released "Haste Make/Hard Hearted Stranger" and later signed with Yep Roc and released "This Side Of Jordan" in 2013. The band gained popularity for its superb Americana sound, a mix of bluegrass, gospel, folk, and country. After an extended tour, he consistently released "Such Jubilee" in 2015, "Blind Faller" in 2016, and "Tides Of A Teardrop" in 2019. The band has received rave reviews from Rolling Stone magazine, NPR, and many other well-known media outlets, and has performed at Austin City Limits, Newport Folk Fest, and other festivals. Later, he changed his name to Watchhouse and released Watchhouse.
