Couperin's Tomb in Piano Trio Version!Formed in 2007 by three members with diverse backgrounds, including five different nationalities, the Linos Piano Trio won the Grand Prize and the Audience Award at the 2015 Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. The album features works by Ravel, with "Pavane for a Dead Princess" and "Couperin's Tomb" arranged by the Linos Piano Trio themselves into a piano trio version. The arrangement for piano trio version allows the dances depicted in "Couperin's Tomb," which Ravel dedicated to his friends who died in World War I, to be expressed more clearly. The "Pavane for a Dead Princess" will also create new discoveries. With this album, you can enjoy Ravel's masterpieces once again from a new perspective. Tokyo M-Plus
