Description:

The album is inspired by a concept described in Paul Gilroy's novel "L'atlantique noir-modernite et double consciousness. Here, the Atlantic area is described as a transnational space where black culture developed as a result of the black slave trade. The work revives many lesser-known cultural connections, showing that music is always in circulation, that it is a fusion of multiple contributions, and that it is never the result of a closed environment. All of this is similar to the way Tonn3rr3 conceives and creates their music, a journey, a fusion of instruments and genres: Sono Mondiale, Global Bass, No Border, call it what you will, but TONN3RR3 strongly rejects the idea of cultural appropriation and looks to the dance floor and experimenting and modifying their music to create their own unique music.
