Description:

The 49th single is the theme song for the drama "Inspector Daimajin" starring Toma Ikuta! The 49th single "Wolf and Comet" is the theme song of TV Asahi's Friday night drama "Inspector Daimajin" starring Toma Ikuta. The original story, serialized in the weekly manga Goraku, is a very popular picaresque suspense manga. The story is about a dark hero who takes on an assassin who is a "slave" of the police and secretly kills criminals whom the police cannot touch because the chief inspector knows the secret that he himself killed a criminal who cannot be judged by law. The theme song, "The Wolf and the Comet," is a swoon-worthy dance tune full of adult sex appeal, written especially for the drama. The song is a midsummer Latin and funk track with the seemingly dangerous "madness" and "sex appeal" that Kanjani Eight, which will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary, has cultivated. The coupling for the limited first pressing "Summer" edition includes "∞Memory of the Moon", the title of which is still unknown, and "Dai-Rebirth", a rap song in midsummer, in which Kanjani Eight's mischievous sex appeal is also on display. In addition to the music videos for "Wolf and Comet" and "∞Memory of the Moon," the video content includes a video documenting Canjani Eight's past activities, which have continued at a breakneck pace since last year. The "FES" edition, which will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary, features the guitar rock tune "Ikiteiru Bokura", which could become one of the band's new signature songs, written by Masafumi Goto of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, and arranged by Ryosuke Shimomura of the chef cooks me. The song is a guitar anthem arranged by Ryosuke Shimomura of the chef cooks me. The coupling track is "BOY '23," a re-arranged and re-recorded version of "BOY" from Eighter's legendary 2010 album "8UPPERS. The music video for "BOY '23" was planned and directed by Tadayoshi Okura and Ryuhei Maruyama. This is a must-have for all Eitar fans, and includes a documentary of the production process. The "Normal Edition" also includes "SLOW" as a new song only available here. The arrangement by Shingo Suzuki, who has collaborated with the band at Sekijam and other events, makes for a stylish slow jam.Kanjani∞ will perform at ROCK IN JAPAN FFESTIVAL 2023 on August 12 and WANIMA presents 1CHANCE FESTIVAL 2023 on September 2. This is a must-listen single that gives you a sense of their momentum as they expand the scope of their activities in every direction without being bound by the idol category.
