Fort Minor is a hip-hop project started by Mike Shinoda as his side project. The Rising Tide", Mike's hit debut album released in 2005, was produced by Mike himself with Jay-Z as an executive producer, and is now available in a deluxe 2-CD Apple Red color analog edition with 4 additional bonus tracks! In 2005, Mike Shinoda, co-founder of Linkin Park and the band's MC, released his debut album "THE RISING TIED" under the name Fort Minor, a hip-hop project he started as his own side project. Mike Shinoda himself produced the album. The album, produced by Mike Shinoda himself, features Jay-Z, with whom he collaborated on Linkin Park's 2004 EP "COLLISION COURSE," as an executive producer, as well as numerous guest musicians including Commonon and John Legend. The album was a huge hit, earning a platinum disc. This 2005 masterpiece is now available in a deluxe edition with four additional bonus tracks on a two-disc Apple Red color analog disc.In addition to the 16 songs included in the original release, the new release will include three additional songs, "Be Somebody," "There They Go," and "The Hard Way," which were included in the deluxe edition released at the time of the original release, as well as four songs from the 2015 standalone release, the hit single "Welcome," which was released as a single and reached No. 16 on the U.S. Hot Rock Songs chart. The four songs are "Welcome," a hit single that was released as a single and reached #16 on the U.S. Hot Rock Songs chart in 2015. Released in November 2005, THE RISING TIED blended elements of hop-hop, alternative rock, and electronic music in an innovative style that was extremely well received by fans, media, and critics alike. RISING TIED was highly acclaimed by fans, media, and critics alike. The album features singles such as "Petrified" and "Believe Me," which showcase the wide range of musical and lyrical abilities of Mike Shinoda's talent, as well as the 4x platinum hit "Remember The Name" featuring Styles of Beyond. The Name," and "Where'd You Go," featuring Holly Brook and Jonah Matranga, which reached #4 on the U.S. Singles Chart, the highest chart action of any song on the album. The album also charted at No. 51 on the U.S. album chart.
