The third ONYX recording by Dejan Rajic (Lazic), a gifted composer/pianist from Croatia and the Balkans, is an intimate chamber music album performed by Rajic with his longtime friends, including the famous Austrian violinist Benjamin Schmidt. It features two of Mozart's outstanding piano quartets as the main pieces, coupled with his own arrangement of the "Rondo Concertante" (Concerto Rondo). This is an arrangement from the third movement of Piano Sonata No. 13 with concerto-style cadenza passages, a version for "piano and orchestra" was premiered in 2018, and is recorded on this album in a "piano quintet" version. The second violin is played by Zen Hu (Tseng Hu), a female player who became the first Chinese member of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.Please come and see again the rich talent of Dejan Radzic, who made his name in the world by arranging Brahms' Violin Concerto into "Piano Concerto No. 3"!
