After a period of quiet contemplation, the "New Jens" finally unveiled its new incarnation! The first release with the new music director is a collection of German Romantic works! Formed in 1999 by former members of the Rodenkirche, Holland's premier boys' choir, the male a capella group "Jens" has made a big breakthrough here in Japan with its beautiful harmonies, outstanding singing ability, and sweet looks. After a period of obscurity, the Jens, led by new Hungarian-born music director Beni Csillág (1976-), is back on the stage! The first release by the Jenz, celebrating its 10th anniversary with a new music director, is a Romantic German repertoire that is different from the programs of the Dijkstra era.Chillag, who learned choral conducting from Eriksson, Gronostaj, Feldhoven, and Vermund, has already gained a wealth of experience as a choral conductor, including serving as an assistant to Kalijuste. The new Jens' voice will reflect the colors of the new music director, including the new harmonies that Chillag's conducting will bring out from Jens, and the collaboration with Dutch sopranos and pianists! ［Comment courtesy of Tokyo M-Plus.
