In 2024, Chet Baker, the eternal charismatic figure of jazz, will celebrate the 95th anniversary of his birth. To commemorate the occasion, three albums from the legendary sessions he recorded in Paris between 1955 and 1956 for the Barclay label have been remastered from the original master tapes and are housed in a single sleeve with original jacket and liner notes. This 180g vinyl LP, a session that took place just three days after the death of Dick Zwarczyk, a pianist prodigy who died prematurely, features the young French pianist Gérard Gustin and Swiss drummer Bart Dahlander.
