The 2023 Edition is an expanded version of the "Red Disc" (The Beatles: 1962 - 1966) and "Blue Disc" (The Beatles 1967 - 1970), which have turned countless listeners of all ages around the world into lifelong Beatles fans since their release 50 years ago. The 21 newly added songs (12 on the "Red Disc" and 9 on the "Blue Disc") showcase more of The Beatles' best songs than ever before. In recent years, including "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (2017), "The Beatles ("White Album")" (2018), "Abbey Road" (2019), "Let It Be" (2021), "Revolver" (2022) For the release of The Beatles Special Edition album, several songs from "The Beatles 1967-1970" and several songs from "The Beatles 1962-1966" have been newly stereo mixed and Dolby Atmos-mixed, and also included in " The Beatles 1" (2015) were given new stereo mixes for "The Beatles 1" (2015).All other songs not included on these releases were newly stereo mixed by Giles Martin and Sam Okell at Abbey Road Studios with the help of Wingnut Films' audio demixing technology.
