The Say C.C. is a soul band featuring a stellar lineup of musicians, including former members of The Extraordinaires and members of the underground cult funk band Orgone.Following their debut album "Prism" (2022), which was a hot topic in Japan, the band has already completed a new album! Continuing from the previous album, the second album "Silver" will be released on Kama Chief, the hottest current soul/funk label under the Coalmine label! The ladies of Say Cee Cee weave together ear-catching melodies, lush harmonies, playful ad-libs, and culminating Hindi riffs accented with operatic cries that draw and lift the listener into their otherworldly heavens, singing in an elegant and bewitching style! Weaving together, she delivers a mesmerizing vocal performance. This second album is released less than a year after her debut. The number of songs on this album has doubled to 16 from 8 on the previous album! The band is in a groove! The three harmonies at the beginning of the album opener "Reeling" instantly transport you to another world. The three singers' voices over a light funk beat are irresistible. The preceding single "C'est Si Bon" is Say Si Si's disco-delic anthem for living in the moment and cherishing the present.A tribute to dance floors around the world, "C'est Si Bon" is like a Parisian playground, a 90's LA shopping mall, a fascinating explosion of 1970's cool downtown New York and the glitz and glamour of London nightlife! The song "Silver" is the first track on the album. And the exuberance and euphoria of the title track, "Silver," is extraordinary.
