Description:
A major event in the world of jazz funk! A true outrage, or rather, an accomplishment! An astonishing number of previously unreleased recordings are now being brought to light for the first time in the world! All of them will satisfy jazz funk and rare groove fans.I'll peel my white eyes! Sound Source #1: From 1972, three songs from that night when the funk gods descended have been unearthed! How can we not be excited about this? Three previously unreleased tracks from "The Wooden Glass Featuring Billy Wooten: Live," one of the three greatest jazz funk live albums in the world, are now available for the first time in the world! The contents are a series of three covers of "Let's Stay Together" (Al Green), "Betcha By Golly" (Stylistics), and "You Are Everything" (Stylistics' famous cover of Diana Ross' and Marvin Gaye's song)! Of course, the content is devilish! The atmosphere of the show, the sound quality, the heat, and the miracle of the show! The atmosphere, the sound quality, the heat, and the miracle of the live show are just the same!Sound Source #2: Previously unreleased songs from the classic 1979 album "In This World" and other takes of songs from the album! One song "Jammin With The Boys" (an early 4-beat jam session), which was originally recorded for the mellow jazz groove disc "In This World" but was rejected, and two tracks that seem to be rehearsal takes of "Crown Royale" and "Summerlight" from "In This World"! Summerlight" from "In This World" and two songs that appear to be rehearsal takes! The popular Latin fusion "Crown Royale" in particular has a much faster tempo than the original, making it more danceable and aggressive! Sound Source #3: From 1980, a jazz funk live recorded in a basement! This is a live session of one night that Mr. Upten had on a cassette tape. The sound is bad, but the content is great! Three gory jazz-funk songs with Steve Weekley (g) and Joselle Carter (ds), the rhythm section of "In This World," and Caesar Fraser, who also has an album on East Bound, on organ! All of them are world premiere recordings.
