The first SHM-CD, paper-jacketed 2024 mastered stereo soundboard recordings of the Japan tour that defined the live style of the Double Trio, an important lineup in Crimson's history, have been renewed! The first release is from the second day of the tour, the first day of the Shinjuku Kosei-Nenkin Kaikan concert! The Japan tour in October 1995 was an important phase of Crimson's live activities, which lasted only two years. The now out-of-print interactive video work "Deja Vu Room" was also produced from performances during this tour. The 1995 Japan tour, which consisted of 6 concerts in Tokyo and 5 concerts in other regions, was released on standard CD in 2018, but this time it is divided into 2 series, Tokyo and regional editions, in an upgraded version with SHM-CD specifications and a facing paper jacket for the first time! The sound quality of all performances is stable, but the sound quality of the old series has been corrected, and the new 2024 master has been released. This 2-CD set includes the Tokyo show #1 following the Yokohama show, which was the first show of the second half of the tour after a long break.The band quickly overcame the problems from the tumultuous Yokohama concert after the vacation break, and showed a cohesive performance in preparation for the TV recording of "Déjà Vu Room," which is coming up soon. Tony Levin's virtuoso bass line shines through in this performance! New Japanese commentary for the 2024 edition is included.
