Japan's proud drummer Shinya Fukumori has already established his second new label "S/N Alliance"! The first release on the label is the thrillingly beautiful debut album by up-and-coming guitarist-composer Shuya Morishita! The album is an update of chamber jazz, another tradition of jazz, and spins out a new chamber jazz sound from Japan with endlessly transparent beauty and tingling sensuality. The ensemble of seven musicians, whose genres transcend jazz, classical, and Arabic music, creates an exquisite harmony of mouth-watering melodies and unpredictable chaos, offering a pleasant thrill unlike anything you have ever experienced. Recorded almost exclusively in a historic former textile mill built in the late Meiji era, the recording process was conducted in a single shot, giving birth to a unique sound with a mysterious expanse that is only possible in this space. Shinya Fukumori's direction has led these intricately intertwined songs to a sound that is truly in keeping with the label's concept of "ryusui fufufu" (flowing water never rots). It comes with a special 36-page booklet featuring a dialogue between Shuya Morishita, Shinya Fukumori, and Taro Sukegawa, as well as a newly written poem by Hikari Yuzawa.
