＜The third in the series: A journey to explore the roots of Japanese idol music. The third and final compilation of the trilogy by All Days Records is a 2-disc set with 40 songs in all! Pops Tokimeki Junction! The third compilation, "Idol Evolution / Respect & Covers," which explores oldies that have influenced the music of male idols and artists, is finally completed. The search for motifs (originals) of hit songs, which was popular in the previous two compilations focusing on female idols, starts with Goh Hiromi, Hideki Saijo, and Goro Noguchi, and also includes references to heavyweights in the new music world such as Southern All Stars and Off Course, as well as the deep roots of comic songs that Otaki-san enthusiasts will appreciate. In addition, the book also includes a search for the deep roots of comic songs, which is a delight for Otaki-san fans. DISC-1 focuses mainly on hit songs by male idols and artists, and includes the songs that inspired them, as well as the "original songs" covered directly by the idols. DISC-2 is a similar approach to the variety of songs, expanding the scope to include anime songs, TV songs, and enka (traditional Japanese ballads), with a few "original songs" covered by unexpected artists at the end.The book also includes original songs covered by YMO, while adding Orange Range, Kuma Mushi, and Wolfram's to the list of research subjects.
