The long-awaited debut album by Caroline, an improvised music group weaving the future of post-rock and minimalism, is now available! After receiving an AIM Award nomination for "Ones To Watch" for their debut single, the eight-piece London improv group Caroline is now ready to release their debut album on the Rough Trade label! The album version of "Caroline" includes the opening track "Dark blue", which takes the listener on a deeper journey into the world, the epic "skydiving onto the library roof", which slowly and beautifully blends the band's musical backgrounds from emo, Appalachian folk, and minimal music, and the subtle, breathy "Breathe on the library roof", which is a beautifully evocative and beautifully melodic piece of improvisation. library roof," and "IWR," a vocal piece with an acoustic guitar ensemble that gradually builds from a subtle breath of air and refrains with a simple, haunting melody. The self-titled album was mixed by John Spud Murphy, whose work with bands such as Black Midi and Lancome is still fresh in his mind.A new musical river is born here, as if filmed in slow motion as an avalanche of Chicago sound, UK folk, avant-jazz, and post-rock blend together in a minimalist manner. The CD of this album, which is distributed in Japan, comes with a commentary.
