Under the name of Gangster Doodles, the charismatic and popular Toronto graffiti artist Marlon Sassy, aka Gangster Doodles, a large number of seasonal track makers and rappers have gathered! The artwork is of course S-class kawaii, an instant must-have for hip-hop enthusiasts. Gangster Doodles, aka Marlon Sassy, the man who easily turns post-its into works of art, is now a familiar name to hip-hop fans for his loose, stylish, and cute work around Stones Throw. His first compilation supervised by him, which has garnered high props from musicians as well as music fans, has been released on Dublin's All City Records. The result is an all-star Thanksgiving celebration, with an ambiguous lineup that makes it impossible to determine what the hell is going on just by looking at the track list. Answer Check. The sound is too wild to say anymore, but it's the worst party I've ever been to. Anyway, I'd love to have it as a disc.The XXX Panther's shoes on the jacket are cute, as are the XXXNell and Nintendos logos on the artwork, the Simpsons, SpongeBobo, and Trump, all of which are loose and cool. I would definitely buy 10 copies of this album, including one to lend to a younger colleague, one to leave on the floor when you invite your girlfriend over to your room and say, "Wow, I didn't know people listened to this kind of stuff," and one to put in a closet at your parents' house to pretend you're an old hand.
