Description:
Sensual and jazzy, UK singer-songwriter Lianne La Havas quietly tells a story of love, loss, and rebirth. Her third album "LIANNE LA HAVAS", which marks a new chapter in her career, is now complete. Analog LP is also released at the same time. London-based singer-songwriter Lianne La Havas, who has captivated audiences with her deep vocals and smoky, jazzy sound since her debut in 2011, is releasing her third studio album, her first in five years since 2015's "BLOOD". BLOOD" in 2015. The songwriting for this album was done while she was exploring her own identity and traveling back and forth between her home country of the UK and the US. The resulting new album, the self-titled "LIANNE LA HAVAS," is a grand and upbeat work. The album includes songs such as the sunny "Seven Times," reminiscent of Brazil's Milton Nascimento, "Seven Times" reminiscent of the jazz sound that Joni Mitchell created with Jaco Bustos, and "Read My Mind," with its soothing drums reminiscent of Al Green in his golden years. The album also contains songs such as "Read My Mind," a song that reminds one of Al Green in his golden years, and other songs that convey the sense of empowerment that Destiny Child had in the 90's. The album also contains songs such as "The Last Time I Saw You" and "The Last Time I Saw You. With her two previous albums, Liane had been touring and promoting with an overcrowded schedule. She says that due to the various events in her own life, it has been very difficult for the past few years to find the time, inspiration, and energy to start work on her next album. She was inspired to start work on her third album when she decided to record a live studio version of Radiohead's "Weird Fishes" with her band after the 2019 Glastonbury Festival.Recording that song was the most amazing and enriching experience," Leanne says. "It was the most amazing and enriching experience," Leanne says. I decided that the songs for the album had to be written like this. She wrote ten songs by October 20219, and finished recording by December of that year. Most of the recording was done in London, but some was done in Bath, UK, and some in New York City. To maintain the "intimate" atmosphere of the album, she gathered together a group of people she trusted. These included Matt Hales, who has been writing songs with her for many years, Beni Giles as co-producer, and Mura Masa as guest producer. (1/2)
