The great Italian violinist Salvatore Accardo recorded this collection of Debussy and Ravel works in Milan in November 2019, and it is now available as a super high quality limited press LP made in Japan (Toyo Kasei Co., Ltd.)! The album is filled with the charms of modern French music, mainly Debussy's sonatas, from difficult pieces for virtuoso violinists to arranged versions of famous pieces by musicians of the time (Arthur Hartmann was a friend of Debussy and Lucien Galvin was a friend of Ravel). The legendary Neumann U47 and U48 tube microphones were used to record the music in a natural, unedited sound that delivers to the listener the experience of sitting in an armchair in an ideal position in the hall.The production of the analog vinyl, using natural color transparent vinyl that has not been dyed black, was carried out with meticulous quality control, including visual flatness checks, checking for scratches and stains, and listening tests of the samples, one by one.
