Howard Goodall is the author of "The Evolution of Music" and "Five Inventions that Changed the History of Music," both published in Japanese, and the winner of the 2009 Classical BRIT Awards for "Best Composer of the Year," and an Emmy Award for his music for "Churchill: Into the Storm" (original title). Howard Goodall (1958-) is a British composer with an illustrious career that includes an Emmy Award for his music for "Churchill: Into the Storm". Goodall, who has had a string of hits as a composer of theme music and insert songs for British TV programs such as "Mr. Bean," and who is enormously popular as a composer of musicals, film music, and TV scores, composed the religious piece "Invictus: The Passion of the Christ," inspired by the Passion of the Christ. The Passion" was commissioned by St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Houston, USA.With Goodall's signature TV score, soundtrack, and musical style, "Invictus" had its world premiere in March 2018 and its UK premiere in May 2018 with great success, and the arrival of this "world premiere recording" will bring even more attention to this new Passion for the 21st century! The world premiere recording of the Passion will surely draw even more attention to the new Passion in the 21st century!
