Avie (Avie) is working on a series of symphonies by Hans Gall, which is undergoing a concerted effort by the label to revive and reevaluate the work. Composed in Edinburgh, Scotland, after the Great War, Symphony No. 3 is a world premiere recording. The combination with Schumann's "Rhine" will bring out the best of Hans Gall's music, which draws on Austrian and German traditions. The Orchestra of Stratford, England's Orchestra of the Swan and American conductor Kenneth Woods, who is fascinated by Hans Gall's music, are also reliable. Tokyo M-Plus
