He has been a guest soloist with the Oslo Philharmonic, performed with musicians including pianist Raif Ove Ansnes, Swedish clarinetist Matthijn Frost, and the Nash Ensemble in England, participated in the Leeds International Chamber Music Festival, and has a busy schedule in Europe, North America, and Japan. An accomplished curator of music festivals, Björg Ruys served as artistic director of the Elverum Festival in Norway from 2001 to 2005, and in 2009 she and her husband, Paul Ruys, began a chamber music festival in Chiltern, England, called MidsummerMusic", a chamber music festival in Chiltern (UK). The instrument used is a Gennaro Galliano (1748) on loan from the Dextra Musica Foundation. This was the instrument used by Martin Lovett of the Amadeus String Quartet. Tokyo M-Plus
