Another FAR OUT accomplishment! Ana Mazzochi, a talented Brazilian musician known for her very popular album "Ninguem Vai Me Segurar" (1974) with the Azimuths, has left behind some previously unreleased studio recordings, which are now available as a 7-inch single! Ana Masochi was a musical prodigy who died prematurely of lung cancer in 1988 at the age of only 37. Her musicality was recognized by Hermeto Pascual, and the few recordings she left behind are known as classics of Brazilian music. It has been thought that her only studio recordings were "Ninguem Vai Me Segurar" (1974) and "Ana Mazzotti" (1977), but it seems that she actually left some recordings when she appeared on TV with her band in the 80s, and her son Toni Mazzotti discovered them by chance while digging through his mother's archives. While rummaging through his mother's archives, his son Toni Mazzotti stumbled upon a mysterious open reel. FAR OUT has now officially licensed and released the recordings. The music is interesting, but it suggests that Ana Masochi was trying to further develop the unparalleled music that she had demonstrated on her two studio albums. Although even the recording members are unknown, except for the producer and drummer, Homiudo, there is no doubt that this is an amazing find that has shaken the history of Brazilian music.
