An original story set in the "Honnoji Incident," said to be Japan's greatest mystery! A completely new story in a new "Honmaru" will be depicted. The sword men are young and talented actors who are active mainly on stage, including Suzuki Hiroki, who also plays Mikazuki Munechika in the stage "Touken Ranbu". The cast is also flanked by famous actors such as Oda Nobunaga, played by Taiga actor Yamamoto Koji, and Hashiba Hideyoshi, played by Yashima Tomohito. The luxury edition comes with a special disc that includes trailers (special trailer, preview, TV spot), "NO MORE Movie Thief" x "Sword Dance the Movie" collaboration video (3 episodes), "Sword Dance the Movie" pre-release special program, "Sword Dance the Movie" in a minute or so, making-of featurette, and visual commentary.
