Victoria Bond is an American-based female contemporary composer. She has written widely acclaimed works in a wide range of genres, from large-scale operas and oratorios featuring "Clara Schumann" to songs and piano pieces. This album includes four chamber pieces composed in the 21st century. The album features four chamber pieces composed in the 21st century, and offers a fascinating array of works to enjoy. The "Instruments of Revelation" is composed of movements inspired by three tarot cards. The 2008 Los Angeles Museum of Art commissioned "Frescoes and Ashes," a piece that uses sound to express various metaphors, and "Leopold Bloom's Homecoming," inspired by "Ulysses," a piece that depicts the progress of the computer.
