Spanish pianist Isabel Dobaro's album titled "Kaleidoscope. It features works by internationally acclaimed female composers, including Yoko Kanno and Karen Tanaka, both well-known in Japan, as well as Pulitzer Prize winner Julia Wolf and Latin Grammy nominee Gabriela Ortiz, all of whom Dobarro admires, and whose works are drawn from various continental cultures and traditions. Isabel Dobaro is a prize-winner in numerous competitions and an advocate of contemporary music. She has premiered many works by women composers, most notably at the Women Now Conference, where she spoke alongside Queen Leticia of Spain and film producer Kathleen Kennedy; in 2016, she and mezzo-soprano Anna Tonna co-founded the Women in Music Project to promote the work of women composers worldwide.
