This is the second album by Vanessa Wagner and Willem Lauchmeier, who first collaborated on the 8-hand piano version of Varèse's "America" and then began working as a duo. This time, the duo performed works by Ravel, Debussy, and Satie, all great composers from France, the home country of Vanessa and Willem Lachoumia. The two performers' touch changes so dramatically from piece to piece that it is easy to forget that they are two musicians in the same band. The two performers' arrangement of "Gymnopédie" is based on Debussy's orchestral version. Japanese commentary included Naxos Japan
