The annual Lieder recital is held at the Académie d'Orsay-Roymont. This is a recording of the concert held in February 2021. Once again, four groups of singers and pianists gave excellent performances of mainly modern French songs, as well as songs by Wolf, Schumann, and Zemlinsky. Timoshenko is a bass-baritone from Russia; he was a member of the Académie National de l'Opéra de Paris from 2015 to 2017, where he performed on numerous stages. Kaérig Bochet is from Brittany and has been a member of the Académie d'Orsay-Roimoyon since 2020/21. Axelle Fagnot, already a highly acclaimed soprano in France and abroad, is taking on a new project with Hervé Niquet and Le Concert Spiritual from 2020/21.
